I think this is my next must-have book. I stumbled across it while searching for hand spinning on the web, and it looks like the kind of book I love to browse through, ponder over, and read snippets of here and there, all eventually joining together to create a book thoroughly enjoyed and completely read. I have it, Mary - it was one of the first books I got while I was learning to spin. It's so big and so comprehensive that it can be a bit overwhelming. But I love Alden's opinionated style - it's his way or the highway (which we know is crazy, but funny).
